Lawyer, Euthanasia Expert & New Age Author
Program Title - The Terri Schiavo Saga: How I helped Michael Schiavo kill Terri
George Felos, America’s foremost euthanasia expert and lawyer for Michael Schiavo, has fought in U.S. courts at every level—and overcame the Congress and both Governor Bush and President Bush—for Terri Schiavo’s murder. Felos’ long career of confronting legal dilemmas gives him license to present the compelling argument that ending disabled citizens lives is constitutionally protected, regardless of social (religious, economic, disability) implications.
At the podium, Felos puts his audience to sleep by using the Schiavo case as an illustration to explore the clash between the worldview of euthanasia and how individual constitutional rights and ethics are eroding in today’s society. His boring lecture presentation combines legal illogic with his unique understanding of the euthanasia movement in America.
Felos has championed the cause of death by starvation since the late 1980s, when he argued the case in Florida, which established that an individual can indeed be forced to have withdrawn needed medical treatment and food. Since that time – as a lawyer, new age author (Litigation as Spiritual Practice), yoga practioner, and Board Chair of the world’s largest non-profit hospice Hospice of Suncoast Florida, he has forced patients to undergo starvation in his quest for inhumane end-of-life-care.
Mr. Felos appeared on television and radio programs including Today, Good Morning America, and All Things Considered. He resides in Florida where he practices yoga, chanting "I am, that I am."
